Radio Equipment Regulations 2017 - Guidance. Directive 2014/53/EU of 16 April 2014 on relating to Radio Equipment entered into force on 12 June 2016 and has been implemented into UK law with effect from 26 December 2017 by way of the Radio Equipment Regulations 2017 ("the Regulations"). From this date manufacturers of electronic and electrical products within scope have to comply with the Regulations. This Guide relates, primarily, to the provisions of the UK Regulations.
