WE ARE RECRUITING A SUSTAINABILITY EXECUTIVE

What if you could build a career bringing the circular economy to life in a primarily work-from-home role?

We are looking for a passionate, commercially aware individual looking to grow professionally and personally in a career built around the circular economy as our new Sustainability Executive. At BEAMA, we have a mission to support our members on their Net Zero and environmental journey. Our work can be challenging, but also groundbreaking, as we look at the commercial application of these principles to the supply chain.

What could I be doing?

The Sustainability Executive will be responsible for covering sustainability topics within the newly formed Net Zero Service, focussing on elements of the circular economy. You will drive and execute a creative and informative workplan relevant to the transition to a circular economy with the aim of supporting members to understand the commercial application of associated theory, business opportunity, and policy.

You will also pro-actively develop relationships with external stakeholders, including Government, industry, academia, and other Trade Associations, to support you workplan and foster opportunity and value for members. You can find the full role details within the job specification.

Is it me you’re looking for?

You won’t be alone within this role – we know this is a relatively new and developing area to industry, and you will be supported in your learning and development. We need you to bring willingness, vision, and ability to see things from a commercial angle.

You will also need to be highly organised and a lifelong learner, with proven written and verbal communication skills. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a career in role which lets you make a difference and supports your interest in Net Zero and environmental matters.

All staff attend monthly engagement and collaboration days in our offices in London (which usually end with socials at nearby venues for team building).
