Healthcare and ventilation

Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) is linked to a range of health conditions that contribute to a significant loss of healthy life years, premature mortality and significant cost to the NHS and wider economy.

As part of the My Health My Home campaign, BEAMA has developed expert-led advice guides to support healthcare professionals and the general public to better understand the importance of maintaining good IAQ through ventilation, possible risk factors associated with poor IAQ and tips and tricks to ensure you do all you can to protect you and your family’s health.
