Job Specification - BES Technical Standards Manager

BEAMA is looking for a Technical Standards Manager to join our team on a 2-year contract, reporting directly to the Technical Director.
This role supports our established technical team, focusing on cable management systems and LV electrical distribution product groups — including conduits, trunking and ducting systems, tray and ladder systems, and electrical wiring accessories.
The successful candidate will help enhance product safety through active participation in UK (BSI), European (CEN/CENELEC), and International (IEC) standardisation. You’ll also represent BEAMA and its members in European trade bodies, ensuring member interests are reflected in emerging legislation and technical policy.
