Functional definitions for hydronic heating systems central and emitter controls guidance notes

The definitions were compiled in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders from the heating industry, as well as BRE and BEIS. BEAMA will be working to establish definitions these for consistent use across industry, as the intention is to provide greater clarity when assessing or comparing control products. This is expected to result in benefits including making it easier to assess product compliance and ensuring robustness of research into the energy saving benefits of different control types.
