BEAMA response to consultations on reforms to RHI and Future Support for Low Carbon Heat

BEIS published a consultation on a scheme to follow the domestic RHI in 2022 called 'Future Support for Low Carbon Heat'. This will offer a £4,000 grant to be used for heat pumps, up to a maximum of 25,000 grants over two years. There are also proposals to introduce biomethane into the mains gas grid.

BEIS also published a short consultation on changes of dates to the RHI, consistent with its announcements in the Budget of 11th March. These proposals have now been confirmed, meaning the domestic RHI will be extended for a further year to 2022.
