Release of EPREL mock-ups and information about the upload process

The European Commission is developing a database onto which information relating to products under the scope of the Energy Labelling Directive needs to be uploaded by manufacturers. This will be a mandatory requirement from January 1. Many European Associations that BEAMA is a member of (e.g. CECED, EHI, EHPA, EVIA…) have produced a joint letter expressing their concerns over the timeline of this project - you can find more information on this in previous updates.
The Commission has now released a document a couple of weeks ago showing how the process is intended to work (attached below), including useful mock-up images. In this case, it’s for solid fuel boilers (Lot 15), and they will be releasing similar documents for other Lots (Lot 1 and 2’s should be available by the end of July, no mention of Lot 10 or Lot 11).
