Business optimism collapsed and investment to enter pause mode
The BEAMA Trends Survey, conducted quarterly, provides insight into current and expected future industry trends. The open comments section was dominated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty it creates in making any business forecast. For the first time in 4 years, there was no mention of BREXIT which show the scale of the economic challenges in this ensuing virus-induced recession.
