Today, TrustMark, supported by The Construction Leadership Council, has launched the Work Safe. Safe Work campaign, it is great to see Trustmark taking this lead, in parallel with BEAMA support for the organisation, and the clear support from Government.
The Work Safe. Safe Work campaign has been created to guide and reassure homeowners who are looking to employ tradespeople in and around their homes in a post COVID lockdown world.
“As the lockdown restrictions begin to ease across the country, more homeowners will be having work carried out in their homes. Our Work Safe. Safe Work campaign aims to give them confidence in employing tradespeople in this new reality we are finding ourselves in.”
Simon Ayres, CEO, TrustMark.
The campaign has been developed by TrustMark and is supported by The Construction Leadership Council who both see consumer confidence as pivotal to the recovery of the industry. We have heard back from BEIS and I am pleased to say the office of Minister Nadhim Zahawi and BEIS will be publicly supporting the campaign through social media.
We have created a consumer-facing microsite and guidebook to help homeowners navigate through safety considerations when inviting tradespeople into their home to complete work.
The eight-page guidebook acts as a takeaway and can be downloaded directly from the site.
Visit our business download hub to access ready-made content and graphics for your social channels to assist you in sharing the campaign message with your members and associates.
Taking previous Scheme Provider feedback into account, we have produced some ready-made copy for you to drop into newsletters and member communications with ease.
For ease, we have written a template press release for you to use with your media contacts from tomorrow.
