BEAMA has developed a new series of facts sheets to support the electrical sector; including specifiers, designers, contractors, distributors and retailers, on how important Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDDs) are in your design and installation process. The first two of facts sheets to be published in the series are an Introduction to AFDD’s and how AFDD’s work.

These facts sheets have been produced by BEAMA’s Building Electrical Systems Sector members who have expertise in AFDDs through their manufacturing operations and active participation in the development and maintenance of the AFDD product standard BS EN (IEC) 62606 and BS 7671 The IET Wring Regulations.
