BEAMA will be joining Innovation Zero as the official partner for the Advanced Manufacturing & Industry Forum, which will take place on 29th April.
Across a full day, this forum will feature discussions on topics including the UK’s industrial strategy, pathways for manufacturing decarbonisation, advances in battery innovation and the growing supply-chain opportunities emerging as the UK accelerates its clean energy transition.
Yselkla Farmer, CEO, will be joining the panel ‘Powering Growth: The UK’s Industrial Strategy in Action.’ This session will explore how the UK’s industrial strategy is translating into tangible opportunities for businesses, and how companies can position themselves to invest in and benefit from high-growth sectors across the country.
This event will also feature Tasha Lyth, BEAMA Sustainable Business Manager, speaking on 'Cutting Carbon Beyond the Grid: Decarbonising Clean Energy Manufacturing', and Kelly Butler, Director of External Affairs, as chair for the forum.
Yselkla Farmer comments:
“Delivering Net Zero will require a fully integrated and decarbonised smart energy system. Like the supply chains that support it, our electrical energy system is complex and deeply interconnected. While today’s system can often appear fragmented, the opportunity to unlock innovation, investment and industrial competitiveness by connecting it more effectively is enormous.
We’re pleased to be partnering with Innovation Zero on the Advanced Manufacturing & Industry Forum to help bring us together to accelerate this transition.”
