RoHS Exemptions update - of specific relevance to BEAMA members

These exemptions are being closely tracked by BEAMA,  and we will continue to support work to establish their renewal through the Orgalim Substances Task Force.    

  1. 6c - Request for extension of existing exemption in- 'copper alloy containing up to 4% lead by weight'
  2. 6b - Request for extension of existing exemption in - 'Lead as an alloying element in aluminium containing up to 0,4 % lead by weight'
  3. 6a - Request for extension of existing exemption in - 'Lead as an alloying element in steel for machining purposes containing up to 0,35 % lead by weight and in batch hot dip galvanised steel components containing up to 0,2 % lead by weight'
