Revised interim report published (Tasks 1-2)

Following the stakeholder meeting held in June, the interim report for the review study has been updated. The study team is now working on the draft final report, which will contain the revised task 1 and 2 and the rest of the MEErP tasks. The second stakeholder meeting will take place in Q1 2019.
Two of the main changes proposed by the study are the revision of the local space heater definition (to avoid existing loopholes) and the removal of the exemption for slave heaters. For products previously considered as slave heaters (e.g. electric underfloor heating sold without controls), information requirements are proposed to be implemented regarding which controls should be used with the products.
