BES 6001 Framework for Responsible Sourcing V4 is now out for consultation. This standard provides a framework for the assessment of responsible sourcing and to give a route to certification of construction products. BEAMA will be responding to this consultation and invite members to comment by the 26th Jan.
BES 6001 Framework for Responsible Sourcing V4 is now out for consultation. This standard provides a framework for the assessment of responsible sourcing and to give a route to certification of construction products. The standard is structured so that compliance can be demonstrated through a combination of meeting the requirements of other recognised certification schemes establishing written policies, setting objectives and targets and engaging with the relevant stakeholders. Industry sector are encourages to prepare specific requirements addressing the framework principles defined in this Standard. BEAMA will be responding to this consultation and invite members to comment by the 26th Jan.
