From the 21st to the 23rd of June BEAMA are running a series of seminars and keynote sessions in our own designated BEAMA theatre at this year’s Elemental Expo being held at the NEC in partnership with the Installer Live Show
These sessions and keynote presentations will focus on the practicalities of getting to Net Zero in buildings and the technologies available, with key educational themes to support installers, specifiers, and designers to understand the part they can play in driving forward the net-zero agenda.
There is the opportunity for members to support this BEAMA takeover through sponsorship of the theatre as set out below:

The planned approach and scope for the BEAMA takeover is set out below:
Branding - Net Zero by Design – homes fit for the future
BEAMA branding will highlight our members as leading technology providers in the development of Net Zero homes for the future, promoting BEAMA guidance and policy documents on the building regulation changes (Part L and F) and Net Zero by Design white papers.
Speakers for all sessions will be from: Government, industry experts, technology providers, installers, developers, social housing providers, and training bodies.
DAY 1: Keynote – Net zero - what is the future for heating?
PREMISE: There is a lot of uncertainty and misinformation about the move to low carbon heating
TAKEAWAY: Attendees understand what’s happening and how it applies to them. Promotion of updated BEAMA Net Zero by Design report and associated white papers.

DAY 2: Keynote - New building regulations Part L and F
PREMISE: There are questions on the new regulations and how these will be applied in the market
TAKEAWAY: Attendees to have a good knowledge of the BEAMA guidance for Part L and F

DAY 3: Keynote – Retrofitting existing buildings for Net Zero
PREMISE: Many believe retrofit is not happening fast enough, has too many barriers for involvement, and funding is limited
