APPLiA submit paper on the 'functional requirements' for the Lott 33 proposal

This report has been developed by APPLiA with input from BEAMA members. The Commission asked APPLiA to review the functional requirements previously set out in the consultant's recomendations for the smart appliance label as it was felt some of these were not necessary and could be rationalised to ensure the minimum requirements were realistsic for industry to achieve under any future regualtion or voluntary label. And that those requirements would achieve the overall goal with regards to demand side flexibility.
These recomendations by APPLiA have now gone to the Commission for consideration. We now await feedback from the Commission and any proposals in how they plan to take this forward.
