10–14, March 2018, INDIA EXPO MART GREATER NOIDA, NCR, INDIA

BEAMA are delighted to announce that we will be the Trade Association responsible for the group of British companies at Elecrama 2018

The 13th edition of this biannual show (exhibition and conference programme) showcases the Indian Electrical Industry opportunity to an audience of manufacturers, traders, consultants, contractors, utilities and Government.

The show is of interest to organisations in the following sectors:

  • Generation
  • Power storage & Renewables
  • Transmission & Distribution
  • Electromobility
  • Power electronics
  • Automation

India present an incredible infrastructure opportunity, backed by the Government’s stated objective of:

“Access, Availability and Affordability of Power for All”

The challenge for the energy sector is to transform what is now a non-inclusive, constrained and vulnerable system that is prone to security breaches into a secure, adaptive, sustainable and digitally enabled ecosystem that provides reliable and quality energy for all.

Central to this is a social policy dimension through provision of energy to rural communities.  Some 35% of the sub-continent (400 million people!) is still without power today.  The Government target is to ensure every household has a secure connection to the grid and the level of ambition extends to building infrastructure across all types through to upstream solutions.

BEAMA has negotiated a funding support programme with the Department for International Trade (India) which will contribute towards a stunning pavilion design and a range of fringe events and meet and greet opportunities.  Additionally, BEAMA’s partnership agreement with its Indian equivalent and Elecrama organiser IEEMA, will present opportunities for introductions and knowledge sharing.  We will contact exhibitors during the autumn to establish their objectives and build an appropriate tailored show programme for each organisation.
