BEAMA, the UK Trade Association for manufacturers of energy technologies and systems, will once again be hosting the Net Zero by Design Theatre at InstallerSHOW, with speakers offering the audience practical advice and expert insight into the realities of Net Zero delivery.
There will be three days of informative and inspiring content from BEAMA’s network of industry heavyweights, focusing on the crucial topics of heating and powering our buildings while cutting carbon.
Yselkla Farmer, BEAMA’s Director of Public Affairs, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to host a theatre at this year’s InstallerSHOW, and working with elemental really helped us bring together some brilliant speakers for all of the discussion panels. We can’t wait to do more of the same in 2023. We can’t wait to do more of the same in 2023. Our Net Zero by Design Theatre was a great way to get people talking about the challenges we all face as an industry in reaching Net Zero, as well as celebrating the milestones already reached.”
elemental’s Head of Content Lucy Dixon said: “The partnership with BEAMA was incredibly successful this year, so we’re delighted to be working together to deliver an even bigger and better programme for next year’s show.”
BEAMA’s Net Zero by Design Theatre in 2022 – sponsored by myenergi, Lewden and ADEY – featured lively discussions on subjects ranging from the future of heating, heating controls, the pathway to heat pumps and updates to the Building Regs.
Speakers included Martyn Bridges, Director of Technical Services, Worcester Bosch; Will Humphreys, Head of Strategy Implementation for Heat and Buildings, BEIS; Richard Halsey, Capabilities Director at Energy Systems Catapult; and Remi Volpe, Vice President & General Manager, Residential Temperature Controls, Schneider Electric.
