BEAMA, with 12 other energy sector trade associations, has written to the incoming Prime Minister positioning our industry as a partnership for growth.
Collectively, we are calling for the Government to:
- Reduce the cost of electricity
- Keep the energy transition on course
- Maintain investor confidence
We hope to meet key members of the new Government to discuss actions that can help achieve these requirements, building the energy system Britain needs for long-term growth. BEAMA members are keen to invest, and our sector represents a great opportunity for economic growth and advantages to all, but we need constructive engagement and clear plans to ensure we accelerate electrification and secure the resulting benefits.
