The ofgem price cap is changing again on 1st October 2026. The next price cap period begins on 1st January 2027. These are challenging times as energy prices place added pressure on the inflationary impact on household budgets.
With millions of homes still using only partial heating controls packages, it is a good time to review how households control their home in order to reduce energy bills. Heating controls remain one of the best low-cost/high return energy efficiency measures, and we will continue to push the importance of this to DESNZ as they slowly frame the Warm Homes Agency and Low-Income Support Scheme.
