On Wednesday 25th of November 2020 BEAMA's CEO Dr Howard Porter gave evidence along with Emma Pinchbeck- Chief Executive Officer at Energy UK Dr Jan Rosenow - Director of European Programmes at The Regulatory Assistance Project Randolph Brazier - Head of Innovation & Development at Energy Networks Association into the inquiry on technological innovations and Climate Change: Heat Pumps.
The Committee members asked some probing questions and welcomed the answers provided by all four witnesses, who between them covered issues around technology, engaging consumers, networks, pricing and energy efficiency. We look forward to reading the Committee’s report and hope its recommendations will be taken into account by Government.
