BEAMA publishes updated Guide to Low-Voltage Switch and Fusegear Devices

BEAMA’s Guide to Low-Voltage Switch and Fusegear Devices has been revised to take into account changes in product standards and state of art. The guide has been prepared jointly by BEAMA’s Low-Voltage Technical Committee 3 and Fuse Technical Committee. This guide starts from the fuse and continues through to various types of switchgear and fusegear. The guide considers switching devices according to BS EN 60947-3 and recent developments in fuse technology. Relatively new applications, including protection of Photo Voltaic (PV) modules and arrays, are addressed. It is intended as an introduction to fuse and switchgear solutions available from BEAMA members.
