BEAMA the "British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers' Association" was founded in 1905

BEAMA is a National grouping consisting of 14 Associations representing some 350 companies in the Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturing Industries in the UK.

BEAMA represents an industry with a turnover of £ 13 billion a year and employs over 137,000 people.

BEAMA is the co-ordinator for the Electrotecnical Industry with UK government and its European counterparts

BEAMA provides a wide range of services to both members and to the industry including Legal, Statistics, Standards , Commercials,Overseas Marketing, Technonlogy, Environmental and much more.

For BEAMA to be visible, and recognised, in the UK and across Europe as the ‘independent expert knowledge base and forum’ for the electrotechnical industry.
To influence the electrotechnical industry’s future direction through transparently and objectively influencing the political, regulatory and standardisation framework shaping it.
BEAMA remains a non-profit making organisation. Our measure of success is defined by growth in annual turnover. |
