Developing a market for connected homes and DSR - BEAMA recommendations

Last year BEAMA published a white paper for DECC and Ofgem outlining the market barriers and recommendations for action to progress the market for domestic Demand Side response. This year BEAMA have been working with our members to demonstrate applications for connected homes with GB smart meter rollout and the role of data in the Consumer Home Area Network. This work has drawn attention to the requirements for the market and here we publish a set of policy recommendations that we feel require immediate attention and action from DECC.
We will be hosted the BEAMA connected homes demonstrations at this year’s Low Carbon Network Innovation Conference in Liverpool.
