L/10 has agreed it must broaden its appeal if it is to realise its aim of helping UK industry to ensure that conformity assessment works to its advantage. To do so it has to enable existing and potential members to see that the benefits of membership far outweigh the costs. Its current plan of action involves three elements:
- Promoting the benefits of effective conformity assessment
- Extending the membership to cover all key UK players in the Ex field.
- Maximising income from the levy
