This Section comprises the manufacturers of Switchgear and Transformers and is the largest and most active of the Power Sector.

Members have an interest in representation with a wide range of external bodies, and policy issues, as well as contract conditions and contract price adjustment services.

There is a very active Technical Committee covering BSI, Cenelec and IEC standardisation issues, as well as developing position papers on technical issues.

This Section actively participates in T&D Europe at a number of different levels, as the sole UK Member of that association.
