Security Lighting

Minimum-visibility lighting can be maintained at an economic and ambient level to discourage intruders, and make it unclear if the house is occupied or not.
 
This includes room-to-room movement simulation, while intruder-activated outdoor floodlighting is an active deterrent to potential intruders.
