Cut-Out and Feeder Pillars

BEAMA’s Cut-out and Feeder Pillar Group (COFPG) is the installation sector’s specialist group representing the UK manufacturers of -

  • House Service Cut-Outs
  • Street lighting and pole mounted Cut-Outs
  • Distribution Feeder Pillars

The Group operates within BEAMA’s installation section on an integrated basis in that it deals with all product issues (including technical) from a single committee comprised of the members who manufacture and supply this range of equipment.

The technical activity of the group is largely focussed on the maintenance and development of three key standards for these products –

  • BS 7657 – House Service Cut-Outs
  • BS 7654 – Street Lighting Cut-Outs
  • IEC 61439-5 – Distribution Boards
