Automatic Bypass Valve
Used to maintain a minimum flow rate through a boiler and to limit system circulation pressure when alternative water paths are closed (particularly in systems with thermostatic radiator valves).
The valve should be installed between the boiler primary flow and return noting the direction of flow. Ensure that the valve has adequate flow capacity. It should be set correctly so as to ensure adequate flow rate through the boiler when all motorized and/or thermostatic radiator valves close.
