The BEAMA Contracts Committee maintains our range of standard contract terms, obtainable from the Department and keeps them up to date in the light of new rules and practices.

In addition, the BEAMA Legal Adviser is a member on the IEE/IMechE Committee of Model Contract Conditions and so we have input into the MF/1 suite of model forms.

We also keep a close eye on current contract conditions, both those published by institutions and those produced by major purchasers, to ensure members are aware of changes in the contracting environment and of new risks and pitfalls.
